RFL’s team Friends Fighting Cancer, in conjunction with The Cafe Society, are proud to present the:
RFL CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

A two week extravaganza held over two sims with sumptuous Japanese scenery & architecture, events and daily activities including …
* come picnic under the falling petals of stunning cherry blossoms,
* play interactive games with your friends,
* dance the night away at a formal East meets West Ball, rave/techno party or to live musicians,
* stroll under the cherry blossoms to see stunning art works which you can bid on
* browse our charity auctions of many exclusive items & our fabulous RFL vendors,
* bid on a date with some of SL’s hottest avatars
* explore & take photos at our picture points with the stunning scenery
* cuddle or kiss with a loved one
* and much, much more!

SCHEDULE

THURSDAY  JUNE 26th
* 4 – 5pm SLT – Live Performance: nuvolino Roffo
nuvolino (Davide Ferri)  is an musician living in Australia, he has been composing and creating all styles of electronic music from ambient to hard trance and club tracks.
His sound has been often described as “pure” and “uplifting” and “fresh” just about everyone that has heard his tracks has found something in them that keeps them coming back for more!
Davide is self taught and has been creating his mastery since the age of 13 and is looking to get himself onto a label, although unsigned as yet he has produced and distributed quite a few Albums with the first one titled “Fruitastic” which was released in 1999 initially in Tasmania  and his current Album titled “Cloud Chamber” which can be found circulating in Tasmania, Melbourne and Queensland.
Majority of his sound is done real time without much use of loops but more the use of Midi sequencing and playing and layering from a musical keyboard using cubase as his studios core originally using an Atari STe now using an Apple mac (which is now his favourite computer)
5-6 PM SLT: Sharie Atlass
“Music is the only language that all the world can understand.”  Sharie, or “Shar” has been singing for many years, beginning at an early age.  She had the privilege to start singing online in 1999 and shares a wide variety of music, including rock, country, pop and show tunes.  She looks forward to singing in SL, sincerely hopes you enjoy what you hear, and believes that everyone who sings from the heart is a “star”.

7-8 PM SLT: Angeljade Writer
Bio:  Can a fantasy become real?  Could a dream become reality.  That is what I strive for.
My name is Angeljade Writer and I hail from a twin island paradise in the Caribbean.
In my past, I was told that I could not sing that special way they wanted me to sing.  So I stayed silent, hidden behind the four walls of my heart, singing only to me.
But God had other plans.  He knew I had a voice in side me. So I am here to let that voice be heard.
I sing with the soul of de islands.  A FLAVA they say.
From Bob Marley to Sade.  A mixture of back in times to modern times.  IF my heart loves it, I sing it.

So stick around and listen to the pepper pot flava that is Angeljade.
